Day-to-day, you'll be...

  • Building and maintaining high-quality relationships with companies who need our meeting facilities and hotel room accommodations
  • Meeting directly with logistics staff at these companies to find out what their needs are in the coming months and identifying what the hotel can do for them
  • Writing and sending quotations and contracts to potential clients to secure future business
  • Ensuring that a booked event will go smoothly on the day of the event.
  • Soliciting corporate guest feedback
  • Using that feedback to help us improve our hotel services & operations
  • Improving the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales & marketing

This role requires:

  • Previous experience as a hotel Sales Executive in 4 or 5 star hotels
  • Previous experience living/working outside your home country, preferably in Asia.

Job Description - Chef de Cuisine

For our refined F&B Operation that includes an elegant gourmet a la carte restaurant and 150 seat banquet room, we are now welcoming applicants for the position of Chef de Cuisine/ Head Chef (French/Mediterranean/Western Cuisine).

This challenging full time hands-on position is for you if you:

  • have experience in French/Mediterranean/Western Cuisine.
  • are an accomplished chef who loves to cook, with a passion for creating new dishes, a strong personal style, and desire the freedom in the creation of the menu.
  • gain satisfaction from meeting & talking with the guests in the restaurant.
  • have advanced culinary skills, including food production, creation of new dishes, and presentation skills.
  • have experience in a la carte and banquet cookery as well as cocktail style finger food.

  • To assist with the planning and support of children birthday party, activities and events for members
  • To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
  • To have a complete understanding and strictly adhere to our standard operation procedures, policies & guidelines
  • Work in close co-ordination with the Assistant Spa & Resort Manager and Sports & Recreation Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
  • To perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Eager to work in a dynamic working environment of a passionate & motivated team structure
  • Energetic, sports lover, creative and enthusiastic attitude
  • Guest oriented and a good team player
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • DSE graduate or above
  • Certification in early childcare is an advantage
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Clubhouse Assistant

Job Description

We are actually based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. So this offer is for Japanese candidates willing to move to Amsterdam.

We are a new concept from an already established businesses in Amsterdam - Sushi Fanatics, Taigu, Shigure

Here we serve Japanese course menu on a chef's table, so customers from all over Europe will have unforgettable dining experience by having close interaction with our team. We also have a modern izakaya section serving regular izakaya menu.

We are forming a new team with the below roles:
1. Chef with passion and experience in Japanese cuisine
2. Sushi kitchen staff with basic understanding of fish and sushi and would like to get more exposure
3. Service staff with strong interest to learn sake, natural wine and cocktails

Depending on experience level, our salary is from 15€ per hour for kitchen staff and from 14€ per hour for service staff. Experienced Japanese chef can discuss with us separately about the payscale. Everyone gets to share tips. We also pay busy day bonus in case of unexpected busy days.

We prefer self-employed freelancers. But working-holiday or persons with other work permit are also welcomed!

We have flexible work schedule but availabilities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are a must. We arrange regular rotations so that everyone gets to take their own weekend off.

We have an international team and knowledgable customers so ability to speak English is preferred.
